Produced from a parcel located to the left of the chateau, near the entrance to the Grands Echezeaux vineyard, this dark ruby-colored wine reveals a nose reminiscent of roasted spices and cafe au lait. This soft, supple, medium-to-full-bodied, and silky-textured wine is seductive and filled with complex blackberry, cassis, coffee, mocha, and spice flavors. Its long finish is firmer than the Suchots yet should easily melt into this offering’s glorious fruit.
