  • Domaine Robert Groffier Gevrey-Chambertin Les Seuvrées 2018

    NT$ 6,500

Bonnes Mares is a burgundian Grand Cru, produced in Côte de Nuits. This is one of the most famous wines of this vineyard, recognized worldwide for its finesse and quality. This small vineyard of 15 hectares is located straddling the towns of Morey St Denis and Chambolle Musigny.
The Bonnes Mares offers a very dense ruby color. The nose is complex and very refined, it opens with notes of red fruits such as thin raspberry, cherry… Black fruit aromas are also present.
On the palate it is fine, nice, wine gradually unfolds and reveals its incomparable texture, but it also reveals present tannins. The aromatic richness is developped on a very long finish.
The production of Groffier Estate, well noted by the tasters, will offer you finesse and length.

  • Chateau De La Tour Clos-Vougeot Hommage à Jean Morin 2018

Coming from the same one-hectare plot as the Vieilles Vignes planted in 1910, only the first shoot on each old vine is selected for the Jean Morin, who was the maternal grandfather of Francois Labet.  Monsieur Morin was from Nuits-St-Georges and an accomplished athlete.  He was a member of the French delegation in both the London summer and Saint Moritz winter Olympics of 1948, fencing and bobsledding respectively.  He was also a confirmed driver paticipating to the Mille Miglia or Monte Carlo Rally.  The wine expresses the prowness of the man, broad shouldered and powerful, showing firm tannins, supreme elegance and a phenomenal finsh.
    COLOR: Deep ruby
AROMA: Spicy plum, earth, and dried flowers are pronounced with subtle oak aromas.
TASTE: Lush, dense and full-bodied flavors of rich, concentrated dark fruits are layered with firm muscular tannins, with an endless finish.

  • Chateau De La Tour Clos Vougeot V.V. 100+ Years Old 2018

Deep ruby in color. These old vines offer dark berry aromas, violets, tobacco and minty notes. 100+ year old vines generates concentrated and rich flavors of dark fruit, plum, cassis and blackberries. This is a muscular yet balanced and well-structured wine that rewards cellar aging.

  • Chateau De La Tour Clos-Vougeot 2018

Moderate but not invasive wood sets off overtly floral red and dark berry fruit aromas that are liberally spiked with warm earth and spice wisps. There is a refined, even caressing texture to the medium-bodied flavors that possess good levels of dry extract along with solid punch and power on the firm and lightly austere finale.

  • DRC Corton 2017

“A ripe but reasonably fresh array mixes both red currant and dark berry aromas that are liberally laced with notes of various floral, sauvage and earth nuances. There is first-rate volume and power to the serious, intense and overtly muscular big-bodied flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the robust, moderately rustic and impressively long finish. To my way of viewing the progression made by this wine since the first vintage under the Domaine’s auspices in 2009, this is beginning to resemble a true Corton. I would expect that as the different system of viticulture and replanting to higher quality vines begins to have their inevitable effects that this will continue to improve. Note that while this is certainly a big and structured wine, it’s not so youthfully backward that it won’t be approachable relatively young, at least in the context of what is typical for a classic Corton.” Burghound
