The new denomination “Sant’Antimo” is allowed exclusively to the wines vinified from grapes grown in the area of Montalcino, further enriching its already prestigious wine reality.
This wine is dedicated to the innovative spirit and vision of Count Alberto Marone Cinzano when he planted Cabernet Sauvignon in the early 1980’s on the hills of Montalcino. This wine is the pure expression of the best known grape variety in the world married with the climate of our very unique “terroir”. In the glass you will find all the intensity of the dry and hot Mediterranean summer and if you close your eyes, you might even be able to hear the crickets singing in the background.

Col d’Orcia
Col d’Orcia 的原意是指「Orcia河上的山丘」，Orcia 是條流經此產區的河流，酒莊就坐落在俯瞰著河流的山丘上，葡萄園位於最佳的朝向南面的位置，可讓陽光均勻地灑落在葡萄園的每一個角落。
身為 Montalcino 產區裡最早的酒莊之一，Col d’Orcia 創立於西元1890年。不過早在四百多年前，這個地塊便已經種植了包括橄欖、小麥、煙草等農作物，而這四百多年以來，Montalcino 的環境氣候提供這些作物優越的環境，證明了此地的微氣候以及土壤的獨特性，特別適合農作物種植。而此地的土壤富含石灰石和礦物質，對葡萄而言，簡直就是最完美的成長環境。至今，酒莊依然以全手工摘採葡萄，以確保每一顆果實都是經過精心挑選，精緻佳釀因此而生。
1973年，酒莊轉賣給創立於1757年的 Cinzano 家族，Cinzano 酒莊早已是生產氣泡酒以及利口酒的世界知名品牌，新莊主Francesco Marone Cinzano挾帶雄厚的財力為酒莊注入了嶄新生命力。從此，酒莊的葡萄園面積逐漸擴大其面積已經超過140公頃，而其中種植 Brunello 的園地就佔了總面積的80%。1980年代也種植一些 Cabernet Sauvignonvu做出Super Tuscan超級托斯卡尼的新式酒款，Col d’Orcia Olmaia Sant’Antimo Cabernet。2010年起酒莊已逐漸改為有機耕作，創造更和諧的自然環境而努力，近年已廣受各大酒評家93-95高分的肯定。

另有件非常不幸的事發生，但也可知道酒莊的歷史悠久，2018年酒莊遭竊約1000瓶酒，其中包括一些來自20世紀60年代的「不可替代」的老年份窖藏。其中包括1964到1968年份的垂直Brunello di Montalicino Riserva酒款，以及二十世紀70年代、80年代、90年代和本世紀前二十年的珍藏酒款，「可悲的是，這些酒款中許多酒都是不可替代的，包括Brucello Riserva 1964，Poggio al Vento Brunello Riserva 1990、1997、1999等等」，酒莊的Paola Tealdi寫道，「我們的商店裡沒有一瓶Brunello留下，哪怕是當前年份的也沒有倖免」。
在Nicola Giannetti回復給dbHK的一封電子郵件中，他特別指出1964年的Brunello Riserva是一瓶特殊的葡萄酒，去年美國第一夫人蜜雪兒·奧巴馬訪問托斯卡納時就喝了這款酒。
